So I'm a lil behind...

So the below pictures are a lil bit behind. They're from December when I had my baby shower. Wow, looking at those pictures, my belly is so little! I felt all big but OOOH NOO. I'm big now. lol. Here's some more pics. There's one of the baby's room (it's not done) and a picture of the belly cast (that's not done either). Shh. I'm moving slowly but surely these days. hahhaa.

Feeling super preggerz

Ok. So Ramon and I've made the decision for me to not work anymore. lol. I'm nervous that it seems way too early to stop working but it was getting really hard. My ankles are starting to swell on the daily basis even when I'm barely on them. i'm getting them "fake" contractions where my tummy gets all super rock hard, and i'm constantly tired but can NEVER sleep. I pee every 20 minutes. I tried working as long as I could but i'm getting to the point where i dread getting up and going to work. I'll be taking a leave of absence and then after the delivery i'll have an additional 6 week maternity leave. During the entire time i'm out i'll be collecting on my short term disability. i knew there was a good reason behind signing up for that several years ago. lol. plus i have my tax refund to work off of so we should be set. i'm getting a decent amount back. over 2 grand. next year i'll get alot more! :-) so i'm on my second day of not working and i'm already restless. lol. i've been working since i was 16 years old and have never had more than a week off of work at any given time. this will be the longest that i'll not work. i'll probably go crazy up until i have Amiah but then i should be nice and busy afterwards. haha. i'll be posting pictures on here soon of the baby room and of the belly cast. i haven't decorated the cast yet but will as soon as payday hits so i can by the paints and whatnot. i also bought a baby book awhile ago with a cute lil giraffe on it and i'm going to start filling it out. i want to buy a pink sharpy to use tho. maybe i'll do that today. so i can at least get out of the house once. me and ramon went to breakfast this morning. i was so tired. i had layed down and started to get to sleep around 1ish in the morning, woke up every hour and then got up at 6:30 to go to eat. and people are telling me to get as much sleep while i can! i cant even do that! lol. ahh well. im looking forward to when i can lay on my tummy and sleep. i hate only being able to sleep in certain positions.

Baby update

So I called off of work today because my hips were pretty sore. Ramon says that my tummy looks lower so I'm sure she's dropping. It'll probably be pretty soon now! The other Jen, Ramon's brother's girlfriend Jen had her baby this morning around 11 I think. They induced her 2 weeks early. I'm not sure why but her doctor I guess is notorious for doing things like that. I guess everything went good though. I'm so excited for her. Amiah will have an older cousin named Brock. I'm not sure what he weighed, hopefully not too big but I guess the birth went good and fast. They gave her an epideral and about an hour later she had her baby boy.

Alrighty. The countdown has begun.I now have complete strangers talking to me about my pregnancy. I take it as compliments. I went to taco bell lastnight and as the girl handed me back my debit card she said, "Congratulations by the way". I was like AWE! So yeah, it's kinda cool. i like to think of my belly as a buddah belly. it brings good luck if you rub it! hahaa. I had a doctor's appointment today. Lately I've been in a lot of pain with my ribs. My uterus has expanded so much that it's causing my riblets to stretch outward and it hurts alot. I can barely roll over at night. I know she's coming soon so I just have to bare with it. The doctor says to take tylenol for it, but i feel as though i've become immune to it, i've taken it so much throughout this pregnancy. He also says that the baby's head is engaged downward so that eliminates the possibility of her being breeched. which is cool. Tomorrow or the next day I'm going to do the belly cast that my mom gave me. I think the baby is waiting for me to do it so that she can pop out. lol. i hope so. The baby room is done, we just need to buy a dresser. i cannot wait. i'm so excited for this baby to come. i can't believe it's been over 35 weeks. it seems like it's gone by so fast and so slow at the same time! lol. I was thinking of writing a letter to Amiah for her to read when she's like 13 or something. I wanna put in it like how much stuff is right now and what its like to be pregnant with her and stuff. I dunno though. I'm kinda worried that I'll write it and then forget that i wrote it. haha. if anyone has any comments on that it would much appreciated! welp. i'ma get going. maybe put my feet up as my ankles are starting to swell now. lol.

ARG!!!

I almost sneezed on my computer screen. My sinuses have been so crazy lately. my sini for plural. lol. Today me and my mom are supposed to go to lunch together. i'm really excited! we are going to bandanas! i've not eaten there yet. so i got my new laptop today from fedex. they showed up super early! i was so excited. its cute and little and green. i'm sitting on my couch right now typing this. i love it so much! (thanks ramon). so i think we are supposed to get a bunch of snow today or something or that's what they're saying. i'm excited. i like when it first snows cuz it looks so pretty and can be fun to drive in. i'm not being sarcastic either. i always feel like i'm off roading! hahaha. dude. i gave someone a stupid honk the other day because there was a four way stop and i stopped and it was going to my turn first but the other car didnt even stop at all! they just ran right through it! i all honked and threw my arms up. it was funny cuz i was wearing my bear mittens. if you've ever seen em you'd understand. i probably looked like a cartoon character. lol. dude. i'm watching the price is right and it really cracks me up when people are bidding for the items to win their chance to get on stage. it cracks me up when its an item where you know that the person will NEVER use it or WANT it. A guy on there just won 1100 dollars with of WOMAN"S accessories. it was a crap load of ugly scarves and hats. Its hilarious. Like when Old people win dirt bikes and shit! lol. hilarious stuff. Anyways...welp, i'm going to watch the rest of the price is right.
